All of us here at College Veterinary Surgery are absolutely
delighted to announce that we won the national award
from the British Veterinary Hospital Association (BVHA)
for the best refurbished practice. The announcement
was made at a recent awards ceremony. This prestigious
award recognises excellence of veterinary design, innovation,
value for money and sympathetic refurbishment of the
older building.
The
BVHA promotes excellence in veterinary practice and
are exacting in their standards. Although we are very
pleased with the results of the refurbishment, it is
always very encouraging to have other veterinary professionals
consider that the whole range of changes are of an excellent
standard, recognising the quality of the clinical improvements
as well as the improvements to the reception areas.
Apparently a large number of practices entered the competition
and the quality of entries was very high. Consequently
it was a great honour just to be short listed in the
final four; getting first prize is an enormous privilege.
I
would like to thank all of our clients who stuck with
us through the building work, their patience was terrific,
we could not have done it without their support and
humour. It is also as a result of all this work we were
able the achieve Royal Veterinary College practice accreditation.
Many clients are still not aware of all that was achieved
and if anyone is interested please phone the surgery
to arrange a tour or visit the virtual tour on this
web site.
